This construction incorporates environmental enhancements such as recycled materials, diverse native landscape plants, bird boxes, bat boxes, and log piles, as well as water conservation measures. Green guide materials rated "A", best practise noise and dust control, and extremely high insulation levels were combined with Air Source heating, a cooling system, and computer-monitored controls. Along with a high efficiency automated LED lighting design, this resulted in an EPC energy rating of "A".
The building meets all “Secure By Design” standards and has been rated a BREEAM "Very Good" rating.
