The project begun with the construction of a new highway junction, road widening, roundabout adjustments, two new bus stops, major footway work, splitter islands, new street lighting, and signage, as well as the procurement of new and the reallocation of existing services. There are also environmental improvements including native landscape planting, bird boxes, beehives, bat boxes, and log piles. Also, the solar array system will offset building energy consumption during use. This is another factor that will contribute to a “Very Good” BREEAM rating.
